Tall Red White 50th Birthday Cake

First try at a tall cake, 3 x 8" (stood just over 10" high). Took 4 times to fondant it! Keep ripping all around the top from the weight, think the fondant I used was too soft (PME). 3 tiers are Chocolate mud cake with ganache filling. Used the Wilton imprint mat and filled design with royal icing. First time using the mat also. Roses and banner are fondant with gum tex. Only recently learnt the roses, first try at making bigger ones. Overall am happy with the result.
