I made these for a friends birthday. Her party was being held at a Mexican restaurant so we decided to go with the Mexican theme. They are a margarita cupcake with lime buttercream. The Margarita glass cupcakes have green sugar around the rim and a lime sugar candy. The sombreros and mustaches are made out of fondant. The orange and green swirled cupcakes I made for the kids since the other cupcakes had alcohol in them and I wasn't sure if it would cook off or if the kids would even like it. It was a few days before St. Patrick's day which is why I added the gold coins.
