This is a cake I made for my twin Aunts birthdays. One of their son's lives in Nova Scotia so he asked me to make a cake for them about Nova Scotia. It is a French Vanilla Cake carved into the shape of Nova Scotia. It is iced in buttercream frosting, and the rocks are fondant. The "Mayflowers", Lighthouse and Osprey (provincial bird) are all hand made from gumpaste. Blue piping gel for the ocean, and gumpaste letters for the message on the cakeboard. TFL!!!
