This is a princess cake I made for my cousin. She wanted a princess cake and I thought using Cake Central for inspiration was the way to do it! The base is 2 12 inch rounds styled into a checkerboard to which when you cut a slice it shows. The flowers are fondant. The "dress" is 2 8 inch rounds and 2 6 inch rounds shaped into a dress. i used chocolate fudge and vanilla confetti cake with chocolate vanilla buttercreme. the entire cake is covered in fondant and I used pearls to decorate the cake.
