This is my first attempt at a guitar cake. It's a cake for my brother's 21st birthday, and he's an amazing guitarist! This is a layered butter cake, with chocolate mousse filling and colored buttercream icing. I used 2 sheet cakes for the boday, I drew a template for the body and carved the cake out of that. The handle is made from rkt covered in fondant and hand painted with brown icing coloring diluted in vodka. The details are in fondant and gumpaste. My brother LOVED this cake, for my first try, I'm happy with the result, TFL!
