Road Kill
In the spirit of "Steele Magnolias," I present this dead possum complete with tire tracks. Yes, it's red velvet inside. I guess you have to be from the Southern USA to appreciate this, but I've done a lot for birthdays and Groom's Cakes. It's carved cake with buttercream and airbrush. Very Funny.
this is so gross i think i like it. being from Texas, I can say this DOES look like the real thing. And it was an armadillo in Steel Magnolias. Great cake

In the south it isn't uncommon to see a dead opossum every 10 yrds. on the road. To us it sorta becomes like part of the furniture , so to speak. We even have a lot of possum crossing the road jokes. GREAT CAKE by the way!

I'd eat it if you scraped the blood off my big piece! My sister wanted me to make this for her dd's b-day and I said no. My niece is deathly afraid of possums. She wouldn't think it one bit funny, and sure wouldn't eat it. What fun is that for the b-day girl? But this looks great!
what did you use to make the tail and legs and ears with? can you pm me?? I wonder how hard this would be to turn into a skunk?
