I was really pleased when a customer asked me to make a purple and black cake as this is the theme that I would have made for myself! As I won't be having any parties any time soon (altoghether now.. Awwww!) I decided to use my design for this order.

All fondant and made my own template for the swirls. I bought the ostrich feathers from a company on the internet - I just wish I'd had 2 that curled over at the top to give a better balance.

The customer loved it and so did I. In fact she almost didnt get it! I think I'll make myself a dummy version...
