LOVE IT! This is such a cool cake. How did you do the piano keys around the bottom tier? The lines are so perfectly straight!

Really, how did you do the piano keys???? I have to try this, my mother is a music teacher. You did a fantastic job!!!

figure out your sets of three-space-two-space key sequence , don't end up with a partial key set (ending with a space is okay). cake on a platform , sit, have work at eye level. mark keys before piping the top or bottom edge (those edges will hide a world of sins!). Take a 6" ruler , use the side edge to mark all the keys, top to bottom. Mark all sides. This makes it much easier to go back and pipe #47 tip (un-notched side) keys. The marking takes time, but the result is worth it! Good luck...
