I only know what kind of candy that is because I just got some in my stocking for Christmas. They are new mini hershey kisses with candy coating called "Kissables".

So pretty.. reminds me of my 2nd birthday cake my mom made me but it was all pink and "fluffly" on top like what you did.... The hershey kissables add a cute touch!!
