This is the cake I made for my daughter's 6th birthday. She had a Harry Potter theme. It was my first attempt at using fondant. It didn't come out like the picture in the book I was referencing, but she adored it!

We cut it, but I need a better cake recipe for future cakes. It was ok, but not my favorite. We had cupcakes as well.

WOW!!! I can't believe how awesome that looks, you did a great job!!! If you didn't show anybody the picture they will never know what it was "supposed" to look like and besides it is always so much better when you add your style and personal touches.
