This was my very first sculpted cake (1996) that I made for my dad. He wanted to take it to work for the birthday of a colleague who only went to the staff restaurant when they had "curry sausage with fries". I always liked to decorate cakes but did not really practice, so this was totally new to me. Dad meant it as a joke when he said "too bad that we can't give him a currywurst cake", but right then I decided that I would try. LOL I think it turned out well. Currywurst is pound cake wrapped in marzipan with cinnamon icing and powdered cinnamon as curry. Fries are jelly fries with icing ketchup and mayonnaise. TFL
