The feet are rice cereal treats covered in modeling chocolate. The ears were black fondant (pretty thick) that II let dry andf then inserted with toothpicks.
This cake is really cute and well done, but from one decorator to another, if you didn't purchase licensing rights to do a Mickey cake, you might want to be careful showing this one off. Disney WILL come after you for this sort of thing... My boss got fined $5000 for doing a Mickey cake and we live in a small city (around 250,000 people).
someone just showed me this picture and they want a cake exactly like this just the feet will be flat on the cake! I will be sure to give you the credit! I absolutely love it :) I just searched around to see who was the original decorator to give them credit!
