Easiest cake ever!  Toothpick with brown and black gel color made the birch bark look.  Bride and groom were married in a National park and had a very "woodsy" wedding.  It was perfect!

    Great touch. Just curious, did the tootpick cut through the fondant when you were making the "bark" Great effect love it!

    Thanks! I used the side of the toothpick, not the point. It went really quick.
