After many months of research and studying on cakecentral, This is my first attempt at making fondant pleats. I used the michelle Foster's fondant recipe and LOVE IT!!. I used SMBC instead of crusting buttercream and it was super delicious. And I also brused the cake layers with a simple lemon syrup, and coverd my cake board with fondant. I must say, that applying all these techniques to my cake has drastically improved the end product, as you will now plainly see in my photos. Thank you cakecentral cakers.
