How to make the handles: Roll out gumpaste into a "snake" and shape it around a can, let dry. After dry, roll out fondant thin--in a long enough to cover the length of the handle. Drape over the dry gumpaste and trim so that the seam is on the "inside." Trim and then you're done! I did it this way for this cake and for the pink purse cake. For this cake though, I also put dowel rods through the handles so that they stood straight up.
