chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling, red velvet cake with whipped chocolate ganache filling, red velvet cake w/ vanilla buttercream filling, & white cake with raspberry cheesecake mousse filling (wanted to slide too much- had trouble with the top tier leaning). all are covered in buttercream & black fondant. apples are cereal treats (covered in fondant & painted w/ food coloring- yes, they have a stem against the black which cannot be seen well). ruffled tulip & petals are fondant (w/ food coloring paint job). the red ribbon and white swags are modeling chocolate, while the chess pieces are white chocolate (with pearl dust on the king piece). piping is royal icing.
