This is my first cake! I made this cake for my niece Mikala's first birthday. Her colors were black and purple and she wore a black and purple tu-tu. I had to transport it from Nevada to California. I had a little bit of trouble with the bottom layer due to a lack of fridge space at my sister's house, and I think perhaps the filling (whipped cream and strawberries) did not help in the stability. The top layer was red-velvet, the middle chocolate with peanut butter mousse filling, and the bottom white with whipped cream and strawberries. I did the zebra stripes freehand, and sculpted the zebra with the tu-tu for the cake top.
