I entered this cake in the 2011 That Takes the Cake Austin Show and it won first place in the adult intermediate sculpted category. The storks legs are pvc wrapped in modeling chocolate and covered in fondant. The storks body is cake and the head and beak are rice crispy cereal. The pillow and baby are all cake except for the arms which are 50/50 mmf/gumpaste supported with dowels. I was thrilled with the end result but more happy that it handled the 2 1/2 drive!
