Welcome home Colin!

We are having a family dinner tonight for my nephew. He's a miracle baby. Now a week old, he nearly didn't survive the pregnancy. My mother came to town and requested this cake since we are chinese and wanted to celebrate the heritage and the safe arrival of our little Colin. It's chocolate WASC with whipped chocolate rasberry ganache filling and iced with ganache then covered in marshmallow fondant. For some reason my "fail safe" fondant recipe failed me and it's pretty rough looking. But I really like how it turned out. Thanks to anna_bananna for the inspiration.
