I made a cake almost just like this one last month. Some one liked it & wanted it the same except she wanted it for her one year old. Instead of the ribbon on the middle tier she wanted her little girls name. She wanted me to add a number one & stars also. I attempted to add the zebra strips then roll the fondant for a zebra flat smooth look. i was able to do it for the number one and stars but for some reason the one for the cake ended up looking more like a cow. so I took fondant off & redid the cake as usual by covering with fondant then adding strips. I might try again later using thinner strips on a smaller size cake. thanks for looking.
