Baby Shower Bassinet Cake

Lemon cake with raspberry puree and lemon cream cheese mousse. I used my daughter's bicycle helmet to shape the hood! It took 5 days to dry before it stood on it's own.

Wow, thank you for all the kind words. The hood i made by adding tylose to my MMF (basically gumpaste). I used a 12x16 jelly roll pan, baked 4 layers, then used the hood as a gauge to carve both ends.
