This is my first time building a large scale 3D cake. A friend convinced me to make it for her 3 year old's birthday party. We documented the steps along the way as I found there was very little information on the web on this topic. I was able to find some information from a class of by Bronwen Weber and adapted my cake from some of her suggestions. He's not perfect, but I learned a ton about balance, the wonders of modeling chocolate (love it!!), etc. It was a really fun process. All in all, it took about a week.
