I took pics of the spiral cake before decorating aswell. I used 4 layers of 8" cake, cut the top off and placed it next to the cake at the bottom to create the spiral effect. It doesn't go all the way around. Dora always goes on an adventure, this one goes over the bridge, through palm forest to the top of star mountain with Dora's friends Isa, Tico, Benny and Boots to help along the way, and not forgetting Swiper the fox who always wants to swipe something. Each model took between 1-2 hours to make. It took 5hours to put everything together - A LABOUR OF LOVE FOR MY ANGEL
