For my son's First Birthday, I decided to try out making a cake with the help of my good friend Carole who is a pastry chef. I love working with food, and making figurines an all so we gave it a shot. It was a little more challenging fro me, but I had a good teacher, the head and ears, we wanted them to be edible, but they were just too heavy made out of rice krispies, so just the ears are styrofoam covered in fondant.... Everyone loved it! we Did too once we stood back and saw all the detail and hard work we put in. All the figurines were done in Gumpaste, and laquered with an edible spray, we Also airbrushed the fondant covered cake with Green.
