Hi All, thanks for being curious... Let me explain: I did try the Shabby Chic Cake on the other side of the Black Piping cake, but my fondant was too dry and unfortunately the pink and green stripes cracked.....so I started on a whole new cake and is now planning on airbrush the other side of the Black Piping cake and try something new! With fresh fondant this time!! :D Thanks soooo much for all the nice comments!!
@Jamie, it is a real cake, thats why I included the flavours in the description, I dont like working with dummy cakes, theres always hungry tummies that will enjoy the real cake! :)
Ok, these cakes are gorgeous, and you have mad skills. But you really don't expect anyone to believe these are real cake? For one, the quilting is sharp and deep, and is probably touching the styrofoam undernetah. No one's cake takes that kind of quilting without a small amount (at minimum) of poofing. It is really ok to say they are dummies. We all make them, but there is no need to pass them off as real cake.
would you please give me your technique on such perfect angles. It is impossible for me to get this look with my real cakes. If you could help me out with how you did this I would really appreciate knowing : )
