My Childhood Wish or Dream

Cake made for live challenge at the Garden State Cake Show. Vanity was cake covered in fondant and painted like wood grain. Mirror was pastillage, copy confection, and isomalt. Girl was completely modeled out of RKT's and modeling chocolate. Stool was cake covered in textured gumpaste.

We had 3 hours at the challenge to complete this. This was our prractice cake. We probably worked on it for 12 or 15 hours. We worked out all the kinks and pulled it together at the Challenge in 3 hours!

Now see, here's an example of what I was just saying. There are cool cakes, and cute cakes, and beautiful cakes, etc. But this goes beyond "great cake." That's just art. You are an artist. It's just fantastic.
