This was inspired by Debbie Brown's awesome creations. The box is 3 layers of 8 inch vanilla cake filled w/chocolate ganache and iced in extra special buttercream. The bear is a chocolate cake using Wilton's sport ball pans and iced and filled w/extra special buttercream then covered in chocolate fondant. Box and accents are all fondant or chocolate fondant. This was a huge learning curve for me, I had a VERY difficult time w/the bear (I even tore off the chocolate fondant which tore some cake and started all over again), but in the end everyone was impressed w/the cake. Everything is always some sort of learning experience for me! :)
