My Grandmother (Superstar) and I had the honor of making my cousin's wedding cake. I sat down ,drew a sketched once we had an idea of what the bride may like. Bottom tier , middle tier hexgon shape, top tier hour glass round. Red velvet with vanilla BC, with vanilla fondant. All roses and leaves made from fondant/ gumpaste. The wedding was held at a winery 3 hours from my home and part of the drive was on gravel road I was so tense by the time we arrived from watching the cake while my husband drove. Poor guy he had to endure my constant reminder that he's driving with a wedding cake (and grooms cake) on board. Grandma was already at the winery when we arrive and together we assembled the cake. I couldn't have done it with out my Grandmother (and hubby). Thanks for looking.
