Holy cow......how long did that take you.....I did 67 dozen once and it took me what seemed like forever!! Great job!

I started baking them Saturday, did that for about 8 hours, then finished them up on Sunday for about 4 hours, then started decorating them Sunday night for about 2 hours, then all day yesterday and for about 6 hours today. I don't look forward to holidays very much any more...people are always looking for an excuse to get a cookie!!

I think you should have gone for that 6 more to make it an even 100!!! lol They look great! Are they royal icing and did you have to bag them? Super Baker!!!!

They are all buttercream...and I just put a dozen in one of those white boxes and out the door they go!! And not a minute too soon!!

Yes, someone had the nerve to have a birthday in the midst of all these cookies!! And now today I am back to doing cakes, I am making three cakes today, six tomorrow, four on Saturday....as long as people keep having birthdays I will have a JOB...guess that is called Job Security!!

I guess the way I make the buttercream is "crusty" enough that I just wait about an hour or so and then stack them and they do fine.

They look great! How do you use buttercream without them smearing or sticking to each other when stacking them?

99 1/2 dozen? Did someone actually order in the 1/2 dozen? I understand what you mean about not looking forward to holidays. I have a "big girl" job, as well, so, there are some sleepless nights around holiday times.

No, no one ordered 1/2 dozen, I just ran out of dough before I could get the other SIX cookies...they were extras anyway!! I always make a few extra cuz there is always someone that 'FORGOT' to order theirs...
