My niece asked for just about every animal under the sun when deciding what she wanted on her birthday cake, but we settled with Farm Animals. I used frosting only to cover this cake, and only used fondant for the animals, since most of the kids don't eat the fondant anyway. They usually just like pulling the animals (or other decorations) off the cake!
