Roulette Cake

made for a Vegas themed Silent Auction. one of the easiest i've ever made! believe it or not. covered in buttercream and MMF. All edible, coins and dice made of modeling chocolate. Cake flavor Pecan with walnuts, coconut and a sweet milk filling. Delicious First i printed the picture of the roulette (attached) on a letter size page (fit to page). i cut it out (inside too) and i used it as my guide to make one out of Gumpaste. i placed it over the gumpaste circle and marked all my lines. i let that dry than i painted each box with food coloring deluted with a tiny bit of vodka. I let that dry. I baked a 12" or 10" not sure just measure it with your cut out. double layered and carved until i got the middle rounde3d. i dirty iced it and placed in the freezer for at least 5-10 min. than i "iced" it and froze again this will help it keep sharp edges! when you put the fondant on. Very important :). Than i covered in fondant and cused i believe burgundy mixed with brown and some vodka and just painted it on. than i placed my roulette on there and piped all the lines and the numbers with buttercream. Royal would be BEST i was just too tired to make some. It is VERY easy if you have your roulette made ahead of time. I made the little handle with fondant and the ball and painted with luster dust and vodka
