I wouldn't change the basket. It looks real. What I mean is a basket never looks perfect. It always has flaws and yours looks like a real basket. If you know what I mean. Great job!

Let me start out by saying I love the basket! It's beautiful. I am planning a Thanksgiving cake to bring to work and am looking through the galleries for ideas. Can I pick your brain? What would you do differently on the basket?

thanks...I would definatly use mmf or chocolate slats on the sides instead of frosting so it looks neater and i wouldnt use frosting color for the "staples" on the bands because when it hit the florida humidity they ran as you can see by the picture...i did a stump cake with chocolate "bark" and i think an adaptation of the bark is what i should have used on the sides of the basket...
