Tray is chocolate cake with nutella filling covered in chocolate ganach and covered in fondant painted to look like wood. All the sushi pieces are made out of white chocolate clay. The larger sushi pieces and the dumplings on the left side of the tray are made up of small lemon cake petit fours and white chocolate clay. The chopsticks, bowl and plate are gumpaste. The background tray is foamcore handpainted and edged in fondant painted to look like bamboo. I had a lot of fun making this cake and would like to thank all the cake artist on CC for all the ideas.
