Thanks to brea1026 for the inspiration on this cake, I only made a few changes to her super cute design. I'm pretty sure this is the cutest cake I've ever made, it just makes me so happy to look at!!! Anyway, it's an 8in+6in frosted in buttercream, with fondant for the accents. The monkey was hand cut, though I did use an extruder for the tail. The details of the monkey face were drawn on using a black edible marker, with food coloring used for the white and pink details on the face. The centers of the flowers are sugar pearls that I purchased from a cake supply store. Can't wait to go to the baby shower and show this one off!!!
