Spring 2010 on Cake Central

This was a peanut butter cake covered with marbled cohocolate MMF. The topper, which was the actual star of the show was my first attempt at working with pastillage. I've learned since that gumpaste is a good deal easier to work with and far more forgiving for small detail work like flowers and bows, though I feel it is still the best medium for plaques.
