This is my sons first birthday cake. It was a jungle theme - I now look back and think of many ways I could have improved the cake but as they say 'hindsight is always 20/20' :) I had loads of fun making it though - it was a vanilla butter cake with chocolate icing and a crushed walnut and chocolate icing filling. Friends and family loved it soo much that they got me to consider baking for others.
