My stepson and his best friend/cousin turn 30 within a week of each other, and I was asked to do a cake for their surprise birthday party. Top Layer: 6" Hex - Torted lemon cake with raspberry filling and BC icing. Numbers on top are fondant. Middle Layer: 9" Round - Single layer yellow cake, torted with chocolate buttercream and Bavarian Cream filling Bottom Layer: 14" Hex - Doctored French Vanilla cake with BC icing I'm happy with the overall design but definitely need work on my corners.
