Care Bears Winter Holiday Cake

Care Bears Winter Holiday Cake on Cake Central

This is a cake I put together for my oldest's scout party this afternoon. I found the care bear candy characters attached to candy canes and though "Cool! I can use those on a cake!". Funny how everything is a potential prop for a cake now. The house is tiled with candy as well. The snowman is frosting and I used sugar cones as bases for the trees.

Thanks. The walkway is actually green M&M's. That's what my daughter wanted it to be. It went over really well at the party this afternoon. They could NOT believe that was all cake. I love watching peoples reactions to what I can create.

thankyou for explaining how you made the trees and stuff, when I first saw cake I thought it was beyond me, but you made it seem attainable, what is house made of? I love this cake.

The house is also cake. Using the wilton house cake pan. Thanks. One thing I found, after doing the house cake several times now, it's so much easier to do if you decorate the front of the house while it's laying flat on a plate, then put it on a board and prop it on your base cake. Hard to decorate all those details upright on the other cake :)
