A gardening theme birthday cake that I made for my Aunt's birthday party. All of the decorations, including the roses, were homemade from MMF. The "dirt" was made from crushed oreo cookies mixed with a bit of melted butter. My favorite part to make was the lilies, I used the cutter from the wilton rose kit, meant for the green bottom of the roses. I lifted up the edges and used icing whitener mixed with food coloring to paint on a design. The flowerpot was made of three 4in round cakes, I left the top unleveled. I wrapped fondant around the sides and a second thicker strip along the top.
