Stack of books Wedding Cake

This was for a wedding, basically the only detail I had about the wedding was that they were decorating with old vintage books. so I went with that :) This cake was definitely my most time consuming, 24 hrs it took me including all the the bake and prep work. They loved it and most people at the wedding were saying "where is the cake?", because they thought they were real books. This cake was inspired by another cake I found on line by, Michelle Bommarito.

I like the way you made the words "respect" and I think you did a great job keeping it simple and clean.Very interesting wedding cake.

Thank you so much! I used just rectangle pans. I think the biggest one was 10x13 and I used a 9x11 and just trimmed them to the sizes I wanted. :)

Awesome! I have a book cake in March. I will definately look back at this for insperation if you do not mind. Mine is for a wedding shower. Again, lovely job!
