I made this cake for my grandma's birthday. We're big animal lovers and have turtles among other things. This is of course inspired by that amazing turtle wedding cake from a while back (google turtle wedding cake). I wanted to try some more intricate designs with my cricut cake but the mini cake tiers were only about 2", and the smaller those intricate designs are made the sloppier they look. I used a very vibrant purple disco dust but it photographs to a violet bluish shade.
