Thank you. I was looking on CC after my daughter went to bed and thought I would try one. She was pretty surprised waking up and finding it on table.

Hi I'm a beginner so would you say this was quite straight forward to make ? Please could you Telll me how you made the hair . It looks fab by the way!
willows 2/5/11 at 5:21pm
sure. I am a beginner also. It is straight forward. You can either use styrofoam, RKT, or a mini cake pan for her body and work your way from there. For the hair you can use a garlic press or I use a clay extruder. Clay extruders are so awesome to use. You can find it at the craft store in the pottery section for about 10 dollars.

Thankyou very much . That's really helpful .

Sorryto ask so many questions but what shape styrofoam would you use? A sphere ?
willows 2/6/11 at 5:01am
you could use a sphere and cut it to the shape you want. To be honest this was my first one and I used the extra cake pieces from the tops of the cakes. I just crumpled the cake and added buttercream to hold the shape I wanted. Kinda like how you make cake pops. Just another idea.

Willows: How tall would you say she is?
willows 4/14/11 at 4:42pm
I believe she is about 10 or 11 inches tall. I put her on an 10 in round and it worked out nicely with a little room around her to add more hair or flowers.
