I made this cake for my law school professor to thank her for writing me a letter of recommendation. I recreated real items from her office. The desk and counter (under the windows) are white almond sour cream cake with chocolate ganache. The walls are foamboard covered in fondant. Everything else is gumpaste! The cake is 100% edible (with the exception of the skewer holding up the Tiffany lamp and the foamboard base and wall). Lots of techniques in this one: hand-painting for the bamboo and trees, figure modeling, drapery, etc.
