Sculpted chocolate cake with vanilla and chocolate buttercream. Fondant and gumpaste pieces. Thanks to msauer for pm'ing me her photos and notes!!! My brown buttercream was streaky after smoothing but this time it helped it look like woodgrain. Used the Melvira roller technique--fabulous!

Thanks! I made a template and sculpted the body and the neck separately. The tuning knobs were made of gumpaste and painted with luster. All other pieces were fondant. The strings were spaghetti and the frets royal icing. Thanks for looking!
