This cake was my first encounter with fondant, layered cake, AND topsy turvy. The topsy turvy design, as well as the fondant turned out great. But, this cake gave me a big lesson in properly stacking/supporting layered cakes. As you can see, the right side of the bottom tier began to crush under the second tiers weight. I wasn't too upset about it though, because it taught me a valuable lesson. :)
