R2D2 Lights Up The Day
This 3D R2D2 is a 3-tier chocolate cake. The bottom 2 tiers are 6" rounds, each is 2-layers. The head is a 6" round topped with a 6" ball mold half. The body details were printed with food coloring onto frosting sheets and applied like decals-- worked great and saved a *lot* of time! The legs are RKT covered in fondant. I put a battery-powered red LED behind one of the edible decals to light up the red circle.
Where did you find the body details to be printed or did you just cut and paste from a picture?
Angstreats, do an internet search for “r2d2 papercraft” and you should find many options. You’ll just need to scale the image for the right size for your cake.
