Trying out some new color combinations and designs.  Unsure whether I should keep it clean or add more flowers.    The greenery is fondant and the  the flowers are gum paste.

Thanks for the input. I wondered if it should be view the same all around. So continue the flower in similar groupings all the way around.

The flowers are stunning- they look so delicate. I think if there are more, it would be overpowering. Beautiful work!

if the back of the cake will be visible, then I would go ahead and make the back a mirror image of what we see here, pretty much. It is a very pretty design, and I also think it looks best with just a few flowers... plus, less work for you :-)

Beautiful! Assuming it's ribbon, how did you "glue" your flowers on ? And did you airbrush? TIA

The flowers are colored with petal dust. I used a custom mix of poppy and orange and over brushed some capucino to tone it down with some brown around the center. No airbrush.

Flower were attached with royal icing. Greenery by water and cmc. hope that helps
