The first gingerbread house for my granddaughter and I. Made for a family Christmas dinner. The cake is red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting (oh---if only all snow tasted like cream cheese frosting!!!!) We had to really encourage the group to eat the gingerbread--nobody wanted to break up the house, but once "Hurricane Liz" ripped off the roof everyone scarrfed up the rest of the house. Can't wait to make next years!
