Spice Cake done for my family Christmas party. Filled with vanilla buttercream and vanilla buttercream under the fondant. Made all the figures and trees from fondant, dusted with powdered sugar for snow and used blue piping gel for the water.

CSM: Nice clean lines. I think I would have dusted the entire cake not just around the trees. It would have been a nice texture difference. Cute Cake.

@KakesbyKris - You know, I actually did dust the rest of the cake after I took the pictures. Should have re-took them, eh? :)

CSM: A cute design. A snowy bottom border on the board would have set if off nicely with the redone dusted top :lol: Very cute santa but did you leave his pupils out on purpose he looks a bit vacant with his big blue eyes with no pupil !!!

CSM: super cute. Really like the gel pool. Would maybe like to see some "snowdrifts" for texture variantion, but overall, I really like it. :)

CSM: Just love that santa! I agree that more dusted areas would have added a bit more snowy look, and also needs a bottom border to give a finished look
