2010 Christmas Cake

Christmas cake I did for our family get together. Bottom tier, Chocolate cake w/ choc. chips filled with Mint butter cream w/ mini choc. chips, all covered in ganache and fondant. Chimney lemon cake w/ raspberry filling covered in cream cheese icing then fondant. Santa is made of rice krispy treats. Cake removed from ea. corner and trees are made of ice cream cones and royal icing. Cake board covered in fondant, used impression mat for the first time, painted with gel colors. Pine sprigs made with snowflake cutter and then individually cut and glued w/ tylose glue. I had a blast with this cake! I hope my family likes it! TFL and Merry Christmas CC'ers!
